1994 Founders Circle

Be one of 1,994 supporters helping preserve the stories of Louisiana’s River Parishes.

In March 1994, the River Road African American Museum opened its doors with a mission to preserve and share the stories, culture, and lived experiences of African Americans in Louisiana’s River Parishes. Today, as we celebrate 32 years of history and community, we invite supporters to join the 1994 Founders Circle, a special anniversary initiative honoring the year the museum began.
