Cancellation Policy

Eligibility • Participants must be at least 16 years of age to join the bicycle tour. • Participants purchasing the Wine & Beer Tasting Experience must be 21 years of age or older and present valid government-issued identification. • Guests must possess basic bicycle riding skills and be comfortable riding in a group environment. Safety Requirements • Riders must be able to start, stop, steer, and maintain control of a bicycle independently. • Riders who appear unable to safely operate a bicycle may be denied participation without refund for the safety of the group. • All participants must follow instructions provided by tour guides. • Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. Reservations & Payment • Full payment is required at the time of booking. • Advance reservations are required. • Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Cancellations • Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the tour date will receive a full refund. • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the tour date are non-refundable. • Guests may transfer their reservation to another participant with advance notice. Weather Policy • Tours operate rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by RRAAM. • In the event of severe weather, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Liability Waiver Participation in the Historic Donaldsonville Bike Tour involves physical activity and outdoor conditions. By registering, participants acknowledge and accept all inherent risks associated with bicycling and agree to release and hold harmless the River Road African American Museum, its staff, volunteers, and partners from liability arising from participation in the tour, except where prohibited by law.
